Looking for a big spec GTI-R

Looking for a big spec GTI-R, budget around 8k

Hi there,

I'm Eric from the Netherlands and I've owned a GTI-R in the past (2004) and still have regrets of selling it...
So...now I'm looking for one...again..;-)
I'm not looking for a standard one, but a HIGHLY modified one.
The "standard "upgrades already need to be done to it, coilovers, big brakes, z32 maf, GT3076 or similar, forged pistons, rods, cams, programmable management, etc..
400bhp won't do it for me anymore, I'm looking for minimum 440-450bhp with an uprated gearbox (no straight cut gears if possible...it's still a road car...), so the standard one won't split into a thousand pieces the first time I boot it...
The body has to be excellent, I don't want any rust. If possible a car that has had a recent respray.
I know there are only a few of these cars, and I know they cost big money.
I'm not looking for a full race car, but a street car, so no roll cages and stripped interiors please...
If anyone has a monster in the garage they don't really use and consider of selling it, please let me know, prefferably via pm, or mail at info@esautomotive.nl

Thanks!

Hi there,
The body has to be excellent, I don't want any rust, scratches or dents. If possible a car that has had a recent respray with new rear arches.
I know there are only a few of these cars, and I know they cost big money.

Thanks!
my old one is on pistonheads new arches, there isnt a dent on the bodywork, 440bhp worth a look.

What you looking at spending?
Budget is around 8000gbp

@Chris, I've been looking at that car, it looks absolutely perfect but it's got a standard box with shotpeened internals, don't know how long that's going to last when I fit a GT3076 or bigger...

You could buy a new uprated box such as a quaife or a ppg and still be within your 8k budget though?

You can, and I realise this may sound crazy, respray it if you don't like the colour.

@Chris: Just been in contact with Sean about your old car.
I'm waiting for some more pictures and with a bit of luck I'm going to take a trip to the UK somewhere next week.

Change of plans, I'm going to take a look at one in a few weeks which has a near perfect body+interior and already has a forged engine+fmic, the rest of bits and bobs (GT3071/3076+manifold, Z32/Q45maf, injectors, cams, management, quaife etc) I'll do myself.
So the big spec part will be done a bit later.;-)

Actually physically check it does have forged internals as I know a few people have been ripped off of late by being told the engine is forged when infact its not.
