Hi guys after selling my R 2 months ago, i am now in process of picking another one up.
It will be my third R in 2 years but all of the ones i have had have been modded in some shape or form the one i intend to buy is totally standard, so my question is this:
What sort of MPG will a totally standard car give me driven gently round town and on motorways not exceeding 75mph.

I know this is a daft question but i intend to let my MRS use it in the week for travel.

I appreciate any help you can offer

I don't think anyone will ever have driven one under those conditions to be able to answer you.:flypig:

MDS, a standard one 'should' be able to do 240miles if driven around that speed and driven smoothly, from my experience.
I used to charge work for fuel and tried to make a profit!
It's still going to cost between 20p and 25p/mile depending what fuel you use!

You'll get on average half of what fuel you put in the tank in £ x 100. For example, £20 of fuel would be around 100 miles at the most.

Economy is NOT something that these cars do.

 That'll be because your lardy **** forced the car so close to the ground that there was very little wind resistance.
