Not sure i like that exhaust. What make is it? Any gains?
That looks like a genuine departure system - twice the cans with the same bore means half as much noise (so you get the performance without going deaf and upsetting your neighbours). I think it's a 2.75" system which flows much better than the standard one, but mine was only a decat-back so I don't know what the front pipe is like (if Tyremonkey has a turbo-back).

I know people don't always like them, but they were quite expensive when they were made and are out of production now.

My only criticism is that they aren't great on a car that has to go over lots of speedbumps in a Welsh village because they do reduce the rear clearance a bit.

departure are 3" pobody and have departure engraved into the silencer tips, and they were a decat back system (i think they were 0ver £1000 new too). i have a nigh on mint set of rear boxes in the garage if someone want's them (sensible offers please)

Shows you how good I am with a tape measure and imperial units then... I measured just over 7cm at the internal diameter of the one I sold; that's where I got 2.75" from. 11cm for the two tips.
Mine was in pretty good condition; there were a couple of dents in the left can, but it was still all shiny and free from holes. - I didn't get as much for it on eBay as I would have liked (but it did sell), so I wouldn't hold-out for too much unless you're in no hurry to offload it.

Sorry for the thread hijack Tyremonkey; it's mildly related. I'm just saying that the departure system is a good exhaust even if it's not for everyone, and that potential buyers shouldn't be put off by it because it will sell for enough on eBay to pay for an alternative.

If nothing else, that engine bay is looking nice; shows that the car has been cared for.

I have noticed Injectors and chi not fitted. Do they just need fitting to make it run or is there more to it? Just wondered why its not been fitted? Also if you have aftermarket Cams what Chip/Ecu are you running at the mo?

I'd guess it's got HKS 264 cams in it.
The injectors can't be fitted without the ECU (I'm assuming it's standard at the moment).

Yes it has got the cams in it. No the injectors are just an upgrade that iv not had time to fit or the money! But it runs fine ish! Got det sensor that going to fitted soon as can get the car in. The ecu is standard and the upgrade is anothe time and money thing!

Dont worry but the high jack never knew it would cause that reaction. Its a blue flame, 3" all the way with no cat.
