Did you know there is a GTiR competing in this years PRO CLASS Time Attack...

Time Attack / Modified Live GTiROC Stand

Saturday - 24th April 2010

I’m sorting out the 1st round Time Attack / EDC / Modified Live GTiROC stand at Oulton Park

For more info click here

Tickets to the event are as follows

Fully paid members: £12 per ticket + p&p

Non members: £15 per ticket + p&p

So far we have 5 cars to attend, but I need around 3-4 more to make it worth having a stand for the club so I’m sending out this PM to see if you would be interested in joining us?

Need a list of names of people wanting to go. Once sorted we've got an idea of numbers then I'll be asking for payments. :thumb:

Also as another incentive there also is a GTIR (yes you are reading this right) going to compete in the Club PRO Class this year, so it would be great to show some support.

The only GTiR I know of competing is Craig's GTiR, fully rebuilt and designed for track which is entered for Club Pro and driven by Dave Perry (Snr) from DD Autosports.

Ive seen the piccies and it looks totally awesome and will be pretty quick too. Snr used to race Porsche's professionally, winning many series and is pretty damm quick round a track so if all goes well they will put the GTiR way up the standings.

Yes, that'd be the one... not only that, but isn't Oulton Park his home circuit?

Yes, Oulton park is his local track which is a good start.

There will definately be some serious power cars there so wont be easy but their power to weight ratio should be good and they have paid particular attention to detail with car setup and handling so really looking forward to seeing it in action

If you're there, make sure you say hello! - I'm sure we'll spend some time in the pits... it's a good chance to wish the Daves good luck (and to bait our favourite tuner and his cut-and-weld car).

See, if you came to the event and put your car on the stand, you could watch it whizz round and get your entrance ticket cheaper too :thumb:

Isn't he in a Fiesta Zetec or something? - I'm not sure about this, but I saw and Ollie Clarke down as a driver for one and I thought "that's a bit of a coincidence; if it is Olly Clark why isn't he representing RCM?".

EDIT: Shameless copied off another site...

i read there only entering TOTB, might have summit to do with them moving premises this year , new dyno and all that

I read a while ago that RCM are working on a new car, a newer shaped impreza of some description. I would love to come and was planning to but unfortunately I'm being dragged out by the other half to her friends wedding.

went to watch the drifting at rockingham a couple of years ago, they had a round of time attack too.

The drifting was great, lots of smoke, noise, crashes etc etc dead exciting.

Time attack was like watching paint dry

Not been to time attack so would like to see it at least once. I think they've also got a couple rounds of the drift chapionship at Oulton as well.
