Aww man, can you not keep the car in storage somewhere, nice and wrapped up until you sort your house out?

Will the money you get for the R really help out that much?

A house is really nice, but does it have 4WD, can it get you from A to B in yesterday? Does it scare your neighbours? Does it give you a grin everytime you get in it? Is it bright orange? Can you race it?............................NO NO NO NO NO NO

A man has got to have something that is truly his. Your wife, your children, your pet, your house, your TV, they are never going to be TRULY yours always a shared relationship with someone else, but your car.............your Nissan Pulsar GTI-R, that is yours, and yours it should stay for a long while to come.

Think about it.

I thought about this, but I know from experience that the cars don't seem to like being stored - only car I've known where stuff tends to brake when its sat on your drive  :der:

If I don't get the offer I want though, I'll explore other options!

Mark - I hope its worth it, currently well depressed  ;-)

Jim - I think you turn up about as frequently as me, at least I've stopped saying I'll come now :p . At least the conversation gives my thread a bump

Dude,

i could not agree with you more. A very good insight into what GTIR ownership is all about.

Persoanlly I get a hard on when i drive my R and hear that pptssshhhhh of the dump valve .

I like this car very much Paz. I have an R at 308 bhp and woudl like to purchase one with more power but yours is a sight so if the bhp is right i woudl be very interested. Can you tell what is is please. also what is the torgue? Oh nay interior pics please??????

thanks

I've got an old rolling road printout showing 236bhp on standard boost matey, but that was with a fooked mild steel exhaust - so with the mongoose at least that, more than likely more, but nothing to prove that. Can't remember what the torque was, I could tell you when I get home.

If you're looking for power this car is crying out for it, and could comfortably and reliably give it IMO - but is currently running standard boost and nothing more.

Interior pics I've been trying to sort out for days, but everytime I get home from work, its too chuffing dark to take any :( As far as it goes its a pretty much standard interior, 1 fag burn in the drivers seat which isn't too bad, but I have a spare drivers and passenger seat in the garage ready to go in anyway. There's an A pillar boost guage, blackjax and turbo timer and that about as far as it goes.

Anymore questions let me know.

Dude,

thanks for the quickl reply..what is IMO????
do you have any exterior stylng mods? eg smoothed back?

Not to worry about the interior fag burn if i get this baby i woudl give her a complete retrim with cobra seats in the front.

No problem fella.

IMO = in my opinion, just me being lazy sorry ;)

The body itself has been largely left alone with the exception of the respray. The rear has been debadged of the original badges and now has a GTR badge instead. The front grill has also been modified, cut out and has a GTR badge also - that was recently touched up as it was losing its colour.

If you want to know anything else gimme a shout.

Ooo, aahh!

Lovely R mate. I wanted to have mine sprayed orange (1 of the many plans I had for it) until I did exactly what you're going to do and have now got a house.

If you do have to sell it just make sure you get something sporty to soften the blow. I was gutted when my went but my little 106GTI is great fun!

Sorry you're having to sell, but it looks and sounds a like great example so hopefully someone'll fancy gettin themselves an awsome Christmas prezzie.

Good luck!

 I was looking at them actually, but for now (and until it blows up! ) I've got a 306 tubby diesel, not much fun but decent on the motorway!

Cheers for the kind words :)

No interior pics as of yet, cameras gone missing  I'll get some asap - like I said though, pretty much your standard interior.

I've had a couple of people ask, so it makes sense to put it in the thread - you don't have to declare the orange respray on your insurance, it makes no difference to the policy price :)

Cheers
