    GTIROC Curborough Sprint Day Feeler

    Hi guys girls,
Looking at another day at curborough as its a good track for meeting / greeting and generally having fun!
NOTE: THIS IS A GTIROC DAY. THEREFORE THEY`LL BE NO OFFICIAL TIMING, IT`LL JUST BE A RUN WHAT YOU BRING FORMAT. HELMETS ARE RECOMMENDED

We`d be looking at using the full track (limited to 10) so it`ll be slightly more expensive than other days at 72 quid all in, but with the amount of runs there is oppertunity to have, its well worth it.

With the full track we`re limited to 10 cars, but if theres more interest, i.e. 15 cars, then we may use the kidney bean which would then allow more to have a bash (and bring down the price) but means we don`t get the start straight.

Here`s a quick vid to get an idea of the full track:

Spectators are welcome so be a good chance to meet some fellow midlands members even if you didn`t want to take part in the track activities.

This meet is looking to be a weekday but no date is confirmed yet.

Who would be interested and what would your preferred period be?

    Cheers,
    ollie

no matey, a double lapper of the full circuit is around ~60 odd seconds so you just que up and have as many go`s as you think you or your car can take.

Really is good fun and ideal if you haven`t done any "off road" driving before

timing means potentially introducing msa ruleings, i.e. approved helmets overalls etc.

This day is an event for people to come and get a taster and meet fellow minded gtir nutcases.

We need to develop the ideas regarding timed events through fubar andys thread.

Needless to say though, you won`t be bored!

Car willing I'll come along. Its only a few hours away from the NW.

A weekday means the family don't feel put out which makes my life easier.

I might be tempted to pop in as a spectator, but I don't think my car is up to sprints. - I'm more likely to come on a weekend than take a day off work, but I might change my mind about that if I think it will be worth the trip.

I can bring my own helmet in case someone wants to take me on a hot lap...
