Using the funky new button I found this old thread.

Anyway, a year old, no wiser.....

Out again in the trusty GTIR in 23 days time on the 2014 Croft Xmas stages (28th Dec).

Always a good way to clear the xmas cobwebs with the potential to catch pneumonia.

See you there.

Never thought of trying to charge for it. Usually bring a handful of flasks and spare cups.
Ours is a 'clubby' effort, scabby sprinter, worn tyres, naff all service crew, you get the picture
Always have fun tho

Maybe a mk2 Golf will be seeing the light of day instead of the Pulsar!
One way or another, we will be there

Well it was a cold one at croft today, not as cold as the past few years tho.

Shame me I didn't bump in to you jon, we did get chance to look at your golf tho an I hope them connector blocks are only a temp measure lol.

I have some some photos but sadly they are on my little ones Vtech camera.

Black ice when we arrived, and when we left. Had a quiet, peaceful rn around in my Mk2 golf. 35th overall in a very strong field for the car's first time out was pleasing. Chock block wiring, reliable, not pretty and yes, temporary.
Jack Frost at Croft again 18th Jan. Not sure what I will use

Good lad.
Come and say hello, our entry is in for Jack Frost.
Chatted with lots guys today, all good crack.
Loads of quality motors out there today, probably fair to say the best turnout seen. That weather was a leveller, lot of bent cars.
A Ford Puma spun going down pitlane on ice (part of the stage), taking half a brick garage down, including the roller shutter door. In a straight line!

I saw one wide arched Puma but it had no damage but I heard them mention it on the loud speaker. Years ago I used to have a Racing Puma, lovely car but it was just underpowered. Should have a Cosworth engine in it to make it interesting:)

Car 66 on sunday at Croft. 2015: 27th Dec: Mk2 Golf this time. Pulsar is on standby for Jack Frost stages jan 17th Croft again.
Weather looks wet.
195/50 Blizzard snows tyres on for scrutineering.....
First car 0930 I think, so we should be off on stage 1 at 1006hrs.
For those interested, its a mk2 shell with a 9A 2L16V short motor with full race head, 300 mech cams and 45 webers, CR box with plate LSD and 4.9 FD
Same old fart driving though.....
