Big spec GTiR for sale

SOLD ! SOLD ! SOLD ! SOLD ! SOLD ! SOLD ! SOLD ! SOLD ! SOLD ! SOLD ! SOLD ! SOLD !

Time has come to test the water in selling my pride and joy! I’ve owned the car for nearly 7 ½ years now and have spent thousands on it. I have a thick Lever arch file with plenty of receipts and history for the car as well as plenty of information about GTiR’s that I have built up over the years.

As you can see from the spec below it’s had quite a bit done to it and I have gone through quite a number of different parts (engine’s, turbo’s, wheel’s, coilover’s, etc) over the years, in order to get it to where it is now.

Please bear in mind that the car has been built for fast road and is used as a track car. So please don’t be asking me if the car has ever been tracked and being shocked to find out it has been tracked as this is what it has been built for!

To give you some recent background to the car:

- 2 x brand new Toyo Proxies recently fitted. Other 2 we’re like new!

- I’ve recently blown up my PAR straight cut box and have now fitted my spare standard box. Gearbox and transfer oils we’re changed for brand new Millers.

- Just done a track day recently so will be replacing the engine oil with brand new Millers and a genuine Nissan oil filter as well as the rear diff oil. Again, rear diff oil will be Millers. That’s £150 worth of Millers oil changed with in the last few weeks.

- Just had the suspension set up and there is –1.6 degrees on the front and –1.1 on the rear as well as Jim’s caster mod.

- The car is used as a weekend car and does not get use much. I think last year it had less than 1.5k miles put on it.

- I’m not is a rush to sell the car and if it does not sell I will just keep her in the garage and continue to use her as a weekend car. The car does not owe me anything so I can justify keeping her in the garage and only using her every month or so!

- The car has been promised to an ex N/W member who is currently in the process of selling his car. But he has said that if I manage to sell her then do so.

- I will only sell the car on two conditions, I know I should not be saying this but A LOT of time, blood, sweat, tears and money has gone into this car over the last 7 ½ years!

1) The person who buys my car will not break her (Bob and Steve Colby need not apply) and use her as she has been built for.
2) I get my asking price (see below).

Enough of my bollocks, spec and pictures:

More details of my car can be found here -> http://www.gtiroc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19496&page=35

As this car is nearly 20 years old there are bound to be a few things wrong, so here are the bad bits:

1) O/S door hinge has dropped (very common)
2) 5Zigan rear muffler needs replacing as the connecting pipe is only made of mild steel and has rotted away. Unlike the rest of the system which is stainless steel
3) Front bumper is heavily stone chipped and could do with a respray
4) Paint around the sunroof glass has flaked off
5) Front Buddyclub wheels have a scratch to the paint on spokes. Not sure how this happened but only minor.

As you can see the car is very well spec’d. I have been as honest as I can about the car and even included bad bits about the car, even though minor I’ve still included them. If you turn up and take the car as it is then I’ll take £6,200 (CASH) for her or I can sort out the exhaust and front bumper and will take £6,500 (CASH) for her. Please bear in mind that the rear backbox will be custom made and the tail pipe will exit on the left hand side of the car at a cost of £300! Don’t be coming to me and offering me stupid offers as I will only tell you to “**** off!”

No test pilots and a valid insurance document will be required for a test drive along with a deposit.

The only reason I’m selling is I want to move on and have my eye on an Evo 6 or TME.

Sorry for the long thread, providing you have made it to the end or have not got board yet!

I can be contacted on 07957 165934.

One last thing is that this advert has only been posted on here, Modifiers and my own web site – OctaneJunkies.com as I want the car to go to a friend or Pulsar enthusiast.

You'll have to stop calling yourself Mr GTiR! Mr Evo maybe?
Seems a shame, but I really respect that you won't let her go to just anyone - good luck with it.

So you think it'll just get locked in the garage and get taken out to play on special occasions (like the 20th anniversary meet maybe)?
Andy did say that it owes him nothing, and he'd be happy to do that if a suitable buyer isn't found.

you fancy something else. Get it, go bang it out a few times in it.

Then you miss what your had before and just go back

Must admit, I had an Evo V for a while and I sold it and came back to the GTi-R!
