Who fancies my job then.?????

As i dont really have the time anymore to organise anything as well as completely loosing interest in the R and selling up in the very near future, its only right that we find a new willing member to take on the role of Mids area rep..

Any volunteers please reply to this thread or PM me and I will put your name forward to the Mods.

Im always up for a meet mate  especially when I dont have to organise them

But, in the interest of area reppin (as im still it!!), EVERYBODY, We will be having a midlands meet in november!!! Watch this space for more info. Its not gonna be purely Rs, more of an old skool get together of the old Midlands lot  who used to have R's but have since moved on to other more "interesting" Jap cars ;-) Everyone is more than welcome to join us as I CAN Garuantee (can never spell that!!!) it will be an eventfull and memorable evening ;-). Mite organise it to meet up, then go for some grub, then for a "CRUSIE" about. Should be fun.

Neil said he had been chatting with you about Supras the other night when I saw him. His does look pretty good, apart from the wheels!!! But Im reliabley informed he is currently deciding on which Volks to buy so thats that problem solved  I can see even tho my potential S15 is gonna have more power than the R, im still gonna get my ass kicked:lol:  Just makes me laugh that we seem to be buying daft real wheel drive cars in the bloody winter!!!!!    Should be interesting!!!

Having been not one application for the role of Mids area rep im gonna open this up again

Is there really nobody interested in repping for the OC???

If people dont start applying im just gonna start nominating people to do it     Not a huge rush tho as im not going to be R'less for a couple of months yet but I wanna get someone in place well before that so they can be established as the Mids rep before I move on.

My obvious choice for the role (off the top of my head) would be Stu but as he does alot of work for Modifiers its not really fair to ask him to rep over here aswell. Any of you other J10 boys fancy the job so you have repp'age on both forums????

Let me know if you (YES.. YOU!!!) are interested.

    I thank you ;-)

I'm interested in the Reps job

Could you PM me with some more info as to whats involved etc ? (I know i live in South Yorkshire but that's nicely between "The North" and on the edge of "The Midlands" :-D)

    Cheers,

    donpulsar :)

Your aving a laugh!!!!    Now thats dedication to the R is it not

However, as much as I appreciate your interest I really cant see how you can rep all of the Midlands from Rotherham?!?! Its hard enough with just the east west Midlands split let alone bringing a whole new level of distance to the equation:cry:

Saying that tho, I will put it to the mods for an opinion but I would guess that they will think the same as me on this one. I think its only fair to the Midlands members that they have a rep based in the midlands. BUT, lets give it a couple of weeks to see if anyone else is interested and if not then maybe that free reps tee shirt will be in the post dude ;-)

    Watch this space.

I see your point, fair enough.Should be me who's laughing tho', as being the only one in the OC showing any real interest

I just thought that seeing as I'm right next door to "The Midlands" then i'd be worth serious consideration (I'm 20 minutes away from Chesterfield, 35 mins from Mansfield, 40 mins from Nottingham & Gainsborough and an hour from Leicester and about hour and a half from Brum) then its a reasonable request seeing as "The Midlands" includes Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, to name but a few counties.

Looking at it, "The Midlands" ought to be split in two - i.e East Mids and West Mids, as it'd be so much easier for 2 reps to cover this rather large area. This is something I'd definately go for.

Maybe it would be better suited to someone who lives in Birmingham City Centre or somewhere in the middle but it's impossible, especially with such a huge area to cover, to be within spitting distance of everyone who lives in your rep area wherever you live in the Midlands?

    Anyway, keep me posted.
