As I thought matey. It's never that simple is it !

Anyway, I think I've found the part number for the GTiR knock/det sensor and it's: N22060 30P00.

If that's right, it looks like the sensor from most of the Nissan models are the same ?!

Slightly cheaper than we can get them here.

im pretty sure they are the same, i had one sent over ages ago from the states but sent it to someone else who needed a knew knock sensor instead of fitting it on my own car and never heard back from them whether it was ok or not.

Those part number details date back to around 2003 or 2004 so, not sure how reliable they are.
However, If I find I need one, I'll order one from the states or oz. That way, we'll know for sure.

I managed to get myself a brand new one off a guy called v32det on ebay for £50 OE part - Nissan Part No is 22060-30p00

Message this guy, im sure he will have some around, i think normally he would sell them for over £100 but obviously i struck it lucky, for once lol.

Ant,

That's a very good price for a UK sourced part. However, you can get them from the US, through eBay, for just about $72. And there seems to be a decent supply too !

I did notice last night that certain Nissan models (X-Trail etc...) have a different part number so, you need to be careful when buying them. Having said that, most of the suppliers specify the P/no anyway so, it's not a big risk by any means.

Again though, anything below £100 is a great price for something Nissan UK charge £200 for. ;-)

Finally unbolted my wallet and bought one. It cost me all of £36 to my door and is in a Nissan sealed bubble wrap bag, with Nissan part number label on it.

Fantastic value for money and very fast shipping.

Just got to fit the bugger now.
