I'm sad to see her go, 9 years of fun but I think Martyn will restore her back to what she deserves to be and all the goodies will end up spread around planet R somewhere on other peoples R's
Pictures as promised.
As I originally said you can see the bodywork isn't the greatest in the world (rear arches would need replaced and tailgate) however it's totally solid underneath and is A1 mechanically.
The car has been undercover and has been off the road for 4 months now so its not...
Why not get a helix clutch, they are reliable even with bigger power and retain a light pedal. I know your running stock power but considering the standard clutches are known to struggle with stock power I would be going with something that's a bit more beefy just for price of mind if anything.
Forged & Quaifed Winter Green Nissan Pulsar GTi-R, 1993 K, 78,000 miles
Engine:
388bhp @ 6,976 rpm & 326 lbft @ 5,147 rpm
The engine and turbo have less than 10k miles on it from memory as it was replaced with an all new forged engine from AGRA Engineering after the original engine had...
I have the Evo 8 seats in mine, they sit a bit higher than standard but not being the tallest this is actually a bonus for me as it aids alround vision. I would think it would be an issue for anyone over 6ft though.
Correct, they did however let me have the garage for free until it was fixed, not that it was any help considering the whole point in getting a garage was to keep the car dry!
PKC Council replied almost instantly with me, infact I was able to ask at the Council offices where garages were available so I knew whether or not it was worth me applying or not, pointless applying if the only places garages were available were in bomb scare areas.
As I said getting the...
I had a council garage for around 1 year, was just shy of £7 a week. Took them over 6 months to get it watertight then I was forced to give it up after the locals petitioned about my car being to loud and unnaceptable for the area......wasn't worth the hassle in keeping the garage!
Another...
I kind of meant fit a diffuser to the rear and attempt to "flatten" the under side of the car as the rear bumper acts as a parachute hence why I said it would cost money. Of course you coulde remove the GTi-R specific body parts but then why the hell would you as you are essentially removing the...
There is a endless amount of "mods" you could do to make the car more efficient, but really at the end of the day you'll struggle to clear 30mpg at the end of the day.
As others have suggested the biggest thing you can do for improving your mpg is drive more efficiently. Now of course you could...
Very much doubt it, for the tiny improvement you "may" see on mpg it wouldn't be worth it The Pulsar just isn't an economical car full stop, unfortuneatly you don't get performance for free and poor economy is one of the sacrifices you have to make.
When I was using mine as a daily on 90% motorway driving I was averaging between 24-26mpg on a consistant basis. This was with just shy of 400bhp and driving like a nun. A full tank used to vary between 240-275miles on the motorway, but if I was on the back roads or only in the town it's easy to...
