I think if im right it can cause problems as the air pressure from the turbo when changing gear can pulse quite alot and can cause strange readings on the maf...so there is a critical length for it to be away from the turbo...(ie) not to short or the maf right on the entrance to the turbo...

Keep getting code 11 ie the crank ange sensor coming up on my fault code check.....can anyone tell me were it is.....??...i think its in the distributer is it not? Also i keep getting an intermitant noise from the distributer cap, changed the whole distributer unit and it went away for a short...

To be honest now all my bracketry is gone its a damm site easier to do it again in situ but like i said if i where to do it again on a lump with all the top mount supporting y brackets on the back as alot of people still have left on i would defo drop the engine.....:-) Its far easier to get...

If you have all the brackets at the back of the engine its a pig to do in the car as you just cant get your hands on all the clips on the back of the plenum chamber to undo them....so in retrospect if i where to mine again i would definatly drop the engine which really isnt as bad as it may...

with that sort of price im definatly interseted....ive spoke to him before about these and he mentioned the fact that we may need spacers....uuuhhhh.....i thought that these were a direct fit.? If they are and he can confirm that they area direct fit and for that price im and defo in on that...

Have you tried re-wiring it straight back to the ecu pin and trying that as a remedy.....if its intermitant it could be a lose connection in the pin or the plug?? Matty;-)

I have tried looking up on the specs of this turbo and for the life of me i couldnt find out anything....even googled it and .......?????:roll: So if anyone can enlightem us as i spoke to the guy and he has assured me there is absolutly no play in the shaft and it ran spot on when in the car...

Just out of curiosity....has anyone else moved there knock sensor to the front of there engine for easier acsess as its a real bitch to get to even with all the bracketry taken of....seen this on the mods sight and wonderd on the does and donts of maybe doing this for future ease......? And...
