prob because ur timing is now out. get ur mate to sit in the car, hold the hand brake on and slip the clutch to drop the revs. or use the timing light to set the dizzy timing to roughly what it is showing at 1200rpm on the consult.

the ones i had screwed into the block till they stopped going in any further, and there was enough thread to get a full nut on and have threads left at the top.
i looked on net at the problems with the arp bolts. seemed to be alot of people not using the correct torque figure. or using the figure arp gave but without the molylube. need to use a different torque figure if you using engine oil or fitting them dry as the friction coefficient is different.
