What suspension do you have could be any of the above or even your top mounts

Will try to join in but mines only going to be a tidy up underneath and waxoil, powder coat/rebush. Well that's the plan at the moment, could go into more if I get brave

Pop the cluster out and spray some wd40 on the white module unit. Might be dirt or a dry joint affecting it. Did this to mine 4 years ago and still working fine

If its just to check for fueling etc You also have AMD (2 doors down from tdi) or redline tuning in basildon. Or if you want the car setup correctly then take it down to ed

What boost are you hitting when it happens, could be knock sensor picking something up. You able to check for fault codes?

Fair play to you guys, sounds like a lot of time, effort and money has gone into sourcing this car and the others especially if they were all based in France. Looking forward to a project thread and loads more pictures. Good luck with it.

My pace kit allows for the a/c to remain in place, just needs the bumper support bar to be cut Down to allow for fitting

Bob my car is in with ed at the moment and should be finished on Thursday, but any delays/problems I might not be able to run the R. Only a clutch and remap, will call you Thursday evening. But I'll still be there on the day
