You do not need the pcv valve mate it will effectively be doing nothing with out vacuum being connected to it,ie routed back to the throttle bodies as standard so a filter on it will be doing nothing.
The misimoto can looks a good design but is designed for a recirculating system back to intake...
The pcv is a one way valve and under vacuum/idle opens and links to a metal/rubber pipe that connects to the 4 nipples that are on top of the individual throttle bodies.
Yours are proberly blanked or linked together.
Separator and restrictor pipe is pictured in my pic.
These alone will reduce oil in your catch can.
Pcv is only used for a sealed system to draw fresh air from the intake pipe under vacuum into the engine and will not work with a vented system as will draw in unmetered air.
There are pros and...
If you want to run a vent to atmosphere set up I would re install the original oil separator and also restrictor pipe from separator if possible then plumb another hose from the pcv valve to your catch tank.

I went without the restictor in the end and decided to only fit one if I got any blue smoke, I think in most cases the built in restictor should suffice if it has one fitted.
I think/hope/pray that this leak may have been where I reverse filled the core before I...
Well I maybe just being optimistic but I think the leak may have stopped, maybe I should not of filled the core with oil before fitting?
Exhaust well that gets hot real fast, maybe its just where its a different one piece downpipe/elbow as its sizzling within just a few minutes.
The turbo does...
Turbo dynamics said run without any extra restrictors to start with so can only assume it has one built in.
The down pipe etc was not glowing but was boiling if that makes sence lol,it would sizzle water as far back as the sump.
That was just at idle, concerns me how hot it will get once given...
