    Grey Forged Pulsar - 385Bhp, 370ftlb - £2900

A few days before it was due to be sold, she knocked the bottom end out - glad it happened in my hands to be honest as I couldn't have lived with myself if it had done it to the new owner. The same guy still bought it, reduced it to £1500 to see it gone really. Matey should just need to pop a...

    350 bhp??

Yeah the Mines will work but only if everything else does as you say. It can be a good cheap compromise for a bit more drivability if you can afford a full ecu setup.

    350 bhp??

Nothing wrong with a Mines at all. It will be another contributing factor that has caused you problems. Too much ign advance, weak fuel pump or wiring - people forget these things.

    350 bhp??

300-330bhp (turbo and engine condition dependant) Walbro + Permanent feed from battery Good clutch Good exhaust (and elbow would help) A good service etc And the only expensive ish bit is a mappable ecu, a good mapper and some time on the rollers. Easy. As bob said, anything over that gets...

I know that part, just want to make sure I haven't got a breakdown between the alternator and battery, I'm sure I tested it right, just being paranoid!

    Running too cool...

No it wasn't, I found it strange myself... Thinking about it I should of checked that the battery light comes on with ignition before removing the alternator earlier though. Battery was only showing 11.8v whilst running. HOWEVER I did probe the alternator by using a multimeter and using...

    Running too cool...

Solved! The problem.... Faulty alternator not charging. Making the guage read low.

    Running too cool...

I have no idea, if I was running too hot I could understand but too cold is a funny one - I'll try and have a better look and diagnosis when I get home later.

This is true, but unless someone knows a nice little trick I have no way of telling :(

    Running too cool...

Auxillery guage that has a sensor plumbed into the top hose. It seems accurate still as the fans cut in at 95 on that aftermarket guage as per standard. Just when you get moving, temp goes back down. The stock guage just sits there in the middle... Ive bled the system by the book as I have...

    Running too cool...

I knew this car would kick up a fuss when it realised it was for sale lol I swear 'it knows...' Ok, yesterday randomly the temp decides to sit at 60deg rather than the normal 80.... Obviously bloody annoying as it still sits it in the warm up map and runs rich and poo :( if I let the car...
