Well I had a standard engine in my pulsar, one day went out in it all fine then started to pop and bang and started misfiring. got it back to garage compression test showed low on compression cylinder 4 havnt stripped it down didn't make any unusual noises no knocking no tapping engine sounded...
Stock Nissan pulsar GTI-R turbo with actuator hardly any play in the shaft didn't smoke on or off boost and pulled very well person who I bought the car off said he had the stock turbo rebuilt no proof! But could be why hardly any play? £100

Wat is the main cause for these cars to smoke alot cus mine does but I dont no if it's cus it's not been out and had a run in ages basically I've owned it for bout three weeks and most of the time it's barely made it off choke??
Does anybody have any idea why my car is idling up and down from 1000 to 2500 for the first 20 mins wen you start it up From cold but wen it's warm and you rev it? It does it again then levels itself again?? Weird wonder if anybody can help?
