Yes some...... actually i am doing the pipe work supports. And lot of detailed work has to be done, such as clutch reservoir support, abs pump support..... but this work i really love to do, i love to work on metal.....:-D Also the rear subframe i have sand blasted and primered...

Hi Whytie, from the pics, the rest of the car does`nt look to have lots of rust. Could you make some close images from the rusty parts youf found? Was`nt there a white pulsar you were anouncing a couple of month ago? cheers Jakob

Hi Steve, yes some small ones. But nothing "swap" related. I`ve just sandblasted the whole underneath of the car and got it sprayed from a friend. Just to give an independent advice: Never sandblast your car at home with a cheap 200 bugs sandblast tool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! neither...

Hi, due to the project i am working at, it became neccessary to have the wiring diagram of the Pulsar. I don´t know if it has been done before but i took the carcircuit document from the maintainance manual and stiched it together. its easier to use it now...

There are some small updates. I was able to disassamble the reardiff of my skyline due to the last snow covering it melt away. Allthough the skyline diff is not negligible bigger it was almost a plug and paly to place it into the pulsars rear axle. only two custom supports were neccessary...

Thanks for the comment Lionel, "what made me doing that"? maybe i took leave of one`s senses!?! Due to i broke a gearbox by launching another pulsar of mine the thought was born. I was looking to adopting a gearbox from another, more reliable car. I found threads where guys flanged audi gearbox...

Also the steering wheel column support has been done with the proper vent into the engine bay. And a new bracket for the shortened gear box support has to be done.

Ok, some small updates. I was able to make new supports for the seats. I am lucky because i can fit the original seats and this is what i was allways after. It was neccessary to shift the seats closer to the door side due to the wider gear box tunnel. Anyway, they fit :lol:

Hi andy_tt, this is what i am also looking for for a very long time now. To reach the proper emission values it is very important to have absolutely seal shafts and without play. Therefore any information where this kit, or sombody who is doing the overhaul, is available, is highly appreciated!

So, after ages a small update. I haven`t had to much time the few month, but i could at least close all parts to weld. So the gearbox tunnel of the skyline sits in the pulsar right now. here some pics of the work done: Also the support brackets of the steering rack were machined...

Hi, can anybody verifie by having a look, that this is a quaife? "first gear is straight cut" the seller says, but i guess he confuses it with the reverse? Also the teeth angle of a quaife looks flatter to me than the gears have on the offered one...

just realized that i put this into the wrong forum column. could someone move this to "problem solving" - thank you! The guy from whom i bought the car changed all oils exept the rear diff one. So i will try it with the from "red reading" recommended one. Cheers

Aha, i have also one "real" low milage rear diff in stock. The enthusiast i bought it from has already changed all oils and he nows the pulsar quite well. So probably he had changed it to thicker oil already. Go and ask him, will let you know ;-) thanks for reply Cheers jakob

nop, but it would have made no difference because it starts only after the car has been driven for a 20min or more, which i belive is when the gearbox or diff is warmed up.

Hi, i´ve recently bought a pulsar and i am experience a huge play in the drivetrain after the car has been driven for a 15 to 20 minutes. You can obviously feel the play when changing between decelerating and accelarating and a huge punch occures at every load change. Any idea where exactly...

Bob, i could say, i will never going to sell it. But as i know, it is better - never say never ;) I guess it would be funny to use it for track but as you see, it will become an LHD. If i come through all this, i will show up with it once on your lovely island. cheers
