I have this same issue i havent yet tried to replace the switch or attempted to buy a new one
I have run a wire from and back to the switch so i can switch them manually
the Evo calipers require getting the hub to caliper mount redrilled larger and offset as the evo calipers bolt up is larger Tho all the effort is well worth it the difference is ASTOUNDING
sorry to revive a slow tread Like you i wasnt keen to go to coil overs. Im running King springs and GAB struts the Rears i have had retro fitted with bilstein inserts the difference is truely astounding
but the cost was so much i could have bought a full set of BCs (insert cheap brand here)

but i tapped mine into the feed wire from the stock relay and earthed the other side tap this wire i placed the new relay in the relay enclosure under the bonnet and you'll see one other running out which if run to the cabin to kill the pump (had flooding issues on...
pretty sure it part of the dash loom not sure but i think the white thin plug plugs into 1 loom for the ecu the relays sit above your right knee under the dash well i think thats right

theres 3 points the looms earthed in the cabin or is there another point for the ecu loom
2 in the left front kick panel and the 1 on the right side at the bottom corner of the dash

awesome Thanks ed to the 2 earths that bolt up at the pletuim chamber? as i did move them from there to the underside of the pletuim thought they came back from the injectors
i had wondered if there was a earth failing round the ecu and some how its all strangely connected If im on the right...

currantly running a Z32 afm i've replaced the afm and the fault returned
it seems i have the same problem as craigcarlon has, while the engine was out i've replaced the coolant temp sensor
(tho i doubt this could be and any thing to do with the fault as the terminal had broke off...
