Transmission shove

Hi all

With the car being back on the road I am working through some of the little issues you get after the car has been off the road for so long!

I have a question regarding the transmission. I am getting a little shunting whilst on slow downshifts. I assume this is to do with the new clutch ( Competition Clutch 8 Paddle)

Can I dial this out with some more bite point adjustment? or is it part and parcel of this type of clutch?

Thanks

I have a Competition stage 3 (non-paddle), but I don't recall feeling anything like that. I didn't do any adjustments on install either. I haven't run paddle before, is it pulsating on downshifts? Or steady drag?

When fitted I did adjust the bite point as I felt it was too low. In gear its fine it just changing down from 4th to 3rd, for example, can give a bit of a thunk as you select the gear especially at slower speeds, 1st gear can sometimes be slightly tricky to engage from a standing start also

You could try more adjustment, dumb question...is your clutch fork bent? Or does the slave cylinder need bleeding?

I am going to try the adjusting, I dont think its bent but it has been reinforced. Slave was new but I will bleed it also
