New parts

I need/want new con-rods and pistons but some that can take a bigger hit power wise. What would you recommend apart from something like Tomei which is roughly 2.5k for a piston kit. Or should i just get standard parts as i have read they are good for up to 450hp.

Any advice is very welcome

I've heard this too, but never had any issues with slap or noise on cold start.

Great pistons in my option and I hammer the crap outta them on track too with no issues...

Mahle, cp, je are all good for what you are looking for, stock rods with arp bolts are fine if good for 500hp and above as long as you are not planning on raising the rev limit.
