I've given up with local garages and need to get my car to Bobs at some point.

Does anyone on here do car transporting on a flatbed or similar? And can you give me a price to get it from Bolton to Bobs please?

Cheers

Paz

Try shipley.com, it's a website that people look for work transporting cars and the bid against each other for the job so the price gets cheaper if they want the work.

Or join the AA or RAC. Tell them you've broke down and you need to take the car to a specialist, I'm covered with my bank

I know he's extremely busy so best give him a call

Andy - mostly just my local garage, don't trust tuners at all. I've got a smoke problem, boost issue, fault code and something screeching. just want someone to take a look and tell me what all the problems are and what it will cost. If you have a recommendation for a garage I'd definitely consider it.

Doc- is transport that hard to come by?

Jay- just wanted an idea of cost really pal, £200 is the best price I've had so far off other sites

Pimp/grim - cheers fellas, few people have pointed me that way

Marty - where's that from?

Thanks all.

I'd look for rally garages than "tuna" garages, personally tuna's just want (A LOT OF) your money for shoddy work.

However I've also used rally garages in the past that have been very helpful and reasonable price wise.

Worth a look before going further a field

I've heard good things about the rally garages too... but I've never taken my car to one.
