As title is anyone breaking a car with good rear quarters

mines going to body shop soon to have mine done

They're part of the monocoque, so they'd have to be cut out of the shell; you might be better-off buying the 5-door quarters and cutting them to size (they need to be welded back in anyway).

No point using 5 door quarters, easier to repair originals or replacements....only useable part of 5 door quarter is half inch strip around the arch....

Are the panels in the eBay link no good for using then?

ive been quoted £500 to have both rear quarters done that's cut out n weld in new metal does that sound about right?

The ones in the link are only any good for repairing around the arch itself

£500 for both quarters sounds ok

It's a guy in Ilkeston called Markus he restores old classic cars n that can't remember the name of his business off of the top of my head

Cool I used a classic car restorer in notts for my mk1 golf gti, they were brilliant they were near tollerton s&t
