mine was a bitch to push when it was like that, but when i put the engine in and conected the driveshafts etc to it it moved freely again.
maybe the front brake disks catch on the brakepads because they arnt sitting the wheels up straight with no driveshafts conected?

I've still got the engine and drive train in mine; that rolls OK on flat ground (like inside the garage), but not so good up hills or over bumps (like trying to get it back in the garage if I rolled it out). - You didn't chock one or more wheels did you? It won't roll over them.

Even when it had engine in and was fully working it was a bitch to push. Now it has no brakes on, no engine in etc and its still solid to push. Rear diff oil hasn't even done 500 mile. Only way I'm gunna find out is to pull rear shafts out. Other Rs I've pushed weren't this hard.

I've got plenty of experience pushing mine around with no engine in  They are hard to push, my driveway is on a slight slope and its hard enough getting it to go downhill let alone up it!

Sure the tires aren't low on pressure?

I also always found mine much harder to push when it was on R rated tyres.
