You need to move the baffle across to those holes and then attach the strainer onto the base of the oil pump, you will see what I mean once you've moved the baffle across

Hopefully this helps George, just cut the thin coolant hoses and then don't put the new ones on after, just block the inlet and outlets off it makes future removal a lot easier and you don't have coolant pissing out everywhere.

I've been runnining with the water pipes blocked off for a couple of years and not noticed any difference, running standard ECU. Idles at approx 900 rpm. i have also extended the wires underneath so I can lift the plenum off without unplugging them, only takes about 10 mins to remove the plenum...

Yes Andy, mine was at -400 and put it on smoke leak tester machine and found about 3 pipes leaking, replaced them and it went down to -500 I don't know if that is the lowest it will go though???

Mine sits about -500 mmhg negative vacuum on the standard gauge at idle if that is what you are asking?

Check the front ARB mounts/bolts as mine came loose and was similar effects.
