If it be head gasket then it would pressurise cooling under load, easy to check. Take radkacp off and give it some revs, if there's a volcano then....you guessed it right or just give it revs and check overflow bottle if it fills up and if you let go of the gas it would create some vacuum and...
I don't think there is much room at lower end. Have a look at corsa b column maybe that will be more suitable and have a look at driftworks youtube they just installed 3rd gen motor on blue bmw. Maybe you get some ideas. You being on state side might not be laying around in every brakers yard...
Two options, steering motor(opel/vauxhall, renault..) or external pump(merc, volvo..). Option 1 requires non pump rack. Option 2 is more fiddly, need space for the pump combo, lines, electrics..etc
Is there any reason you go for old technology turbo? In 20 years turbo tech has evolved drastically G25-... G30-... faster spool, better response take your pick.
I don't think you get there with gt3071r, i got 360 to the hubs 1.5bar, stock manifold 3" from turbo. Maybe G25-660 or something similar newer turbo, don't forget drivetrain loss from the equation
Ha! Did the same thing just last week ordered flocking kit for a mate will pass the knowledge on. He did a try piece on a cardboard with a 5mm green grass but it shook loose (or some of it):)
The spring is on it's way so i thought to put together my new setup. Turbo was the last to join to party and it is huge(that's what she said) and i think i'm going to redo my mani or it won't fit :sweat:
